NOTICE OF VACANT POSITIONS 

(1)Division Chief III (Item No. 52) SG24 - Min. Reqs.: Masters Degree;  Preferably Doctor of Medicine; CS Prof. or RA1080 (licensed); 4 yrs of experience involving management and supervision and 24 hrs of training in management and supervision.

• Plans, organizes, directs and controls the technical and administrative activities of the Health Control Division;
• Directs and supervises the operation and development of researches, design and programs on occupational safety and health;
• Supervises in the development of studies for identifying and alerting industry and labor to potential health problems associated with exposure to chemical, physical and biological agents;
• Directs, controls, supervises and participates in the preparation of project proposals, reports, research findings and informative materials on the Center’s area of concern;

(3)Industrial Hygienist III (Item no. 80-2 to 4) SG 16– Min. Reqs.: CS-Prof. or RA1080; Bachelor’s degree preferably graduate of Mechanical Engineering; (1) year of relevant experience (on occupational safety and health); (4) hours of relevant training (on occupational safety and health)

• Participates in the development of projects and programs on occupational health problems related to exposure to physical, chemical and biological hazards;
• Conducts studies, researches and investigation on various materials, type of equipment utilized, operational processes, work methods and existing engineering controls used in industries;
• Determines sampling techniques and necessary monitoring equipment to be used in the conduct of work environment measurement and testing of respirators and ventilation system;
• Performs laboratory analyses, experiments and tests for evaluating the presence of harmful agents found in the workplace and prepares technical reports based on field and laboratory findings;

(1)Nurse II (for OSHC-Cagayan de Oro Office) (Item No. 56-1) SG-15 Min. Reqs: Bachelor of Science in Nursing; RA1080 (licensed); 1 year of relevant experience(on occupational safety and health); 4 hours of relevant training

• Performs simple medical procedures/examinations.
• Assists the Occupational Health Officers during medical procedures.
• Maintains medical records of workers.
• Maintains all equipment in the Medical Examination Section.
